Is your child becoming lazy with every passing day? Do you want to make your children physically active and fit, but they’re too concentrated on mobile phones? Well, don’t you worry. We’ve got your back. In this digital era of technology, where everything can be done online, no one wants to go out, especially kids.

Kids these days are just too focused on mobile and PC games. But for how long can one stay in bed? Not for good, of course. Allow us to introduce you to 7 activities that will be fun. But, they will also keep your children productive and help keep them moving.

Musical Chairs

Arrange a specific number of chairs together in any particular shape. Keep one less chair than the total number of children. As the music plays, children will move around the chairs and sit at any available chair when the music stops. Every time the music stops, one chair will be removed, and one kid will be eliminated. The last one sitting on the chair wins!

Shuttle Runs

Set up markers at a specific distance and make the children sprint between them. The round from one marker to the other is one repetition. Fix a particular number of repetitions. Whoever completes the repetitions first wins!

Jumping Ropes

Many cute and funky jumping ropes of varying lengths are available in the market. Buy a jumping rope; two people hold one end of the rope and spin it clockwise, anticlockwise, or both. One kid jumps over the rope to avoid falling. The kids can also spin the rope themselves. If you can’t go outside, this is a perfect recreational activity to perform indoors.

Family Outings

Plan family outings for your kids. You can also invite their friends or cousins home. Whenever a few kids gather, they can find a thousand ways to have fun. If your child is too stuffed to go out, this can be a perfect trick to take him out of his shell.

Animal Moves

Make your zoo! Just kidding. Animal moves are another fun activity that your kids can do while staying indoors. Children can choose a specific animal or insect and mimic it. For instance, they can hop like a frog, crawl like a reptile or fly like a butterfly.

Dancing Partner

Take several pieces of newspaper and tape them together to form a big sheet. Lay down on the sheet and have someone trace your body. Cut down the shape and use it as your identical dancing partner. Kids find this an exciting game to play when bored.

Treasure Hunt

This can be a fun activity for kids to stay active and perform both indoors and outdoors. You can use goodies instead of any other stuff and hide them in different places at your home. And keep a significant award for the winner that will motivate kids to stay active and participate in the game vigilantly.
